Emailing NextStage

A note from our CTO: Like all revolutionary technology, email changed all our lives giving us abilities we never had before. And like all technologies, it can become a primary weapon in the eternal struggle between good and evil.

Over the past few years, the evil (spammers, phishers, Nigerian princes, and other frauds and intruders) have taken over so much of the cyber spaces that it has become a constant, time-eating, money-wasting battle against them. Literally millions are spent fighting the flood of spam, and every new strategy that comes up is countered within weeks by new and sneakier workarounds. There is no current solution that really works -- at least works for very long -- though people keep trying to win in this constant battle.

We have elected not to fight it any more.

As of June, 2009, We will only accept email from our friends -- people and companies we know we want to hear from that we have put into our exclusive list of nice human beings and decent corporate citizens. Fortunately, it's not so hard to be our friend.
